Iron ore (hematite, magnetite)

Iron ore is one of the most abundant metallic elements in the earth, whose oxide comprises about 5% of the earth’s crust.
Hematite is cleaned by water and hydrochloric acid. One of the features of this stone is its rust resistance. Hematite iron ore powder can also be used in rust making.
It is different from hematite in terms of mineral structure. The difference between hematite and magnetite is their capacity and oxidation. It is noteworthy that the oxidation capacity of hematite is higher than that of magnetite, and hematite has 70% and magnetite 72% of iron.
