High sulfur graphite

High-sulfur graphite or granular graphite, also known as (CPC), is a solid carbonaceous material obtained by calcining petroleum-based materials called (RPC). Persulfur graphite is generally black or matte gray with a granular and porous appearance. Persulfur graphite is used for carbon charging in steelmaking, iron casting, aluminum making, anode making, refractory and slag making industries in electric arc furnaces. High-sulfur graphite has a higher calorific value than metallurgical coke and its ash content is also lower, so the carbon absorption coefficient of high-sulfur graphite is much higher than metallurgical coke.
